But the directory exists in /, so it actually _is_ available to
work (unlike a broken symlink). Not optimal, but...
In any case, I agree that automically suggesting partitions like
this is a bad idea.

Red Hat has resize2fs as rpm and tz on their servers, derived of
PM4.
And joeyh is packaging ext2-resize:
`ext2-resize is a utility that can resize ext2 filesystems. It is now free
under the GPL, see http://www.dsv.nl/~buytenh/ext2resize/
It's in beta. I'll be putting it in unstable with appropriate
warnings.'
