Introduction / Biography

I was born in 1988 in Savigliano, a small town in northwest Italy. My journey with Linux began with Knoppix 3.4, where I was captivated by its live CD features, experimenting with it both at school and home. This experience ignited my passion for open-source software.

In 2014, I started contributing to Debian, initially focusing on the BOINC packages.  Over time, I expanded my contributions to various packages and initiatives within the community. In 2015, I became a Debian Developer, uploading since August 1, 2015.  My involvement extends to Ubuntu, where I have been a Core Developer since 2016 and a MOTU (Masters of the Universe) member since 2015.

Professionally, I work in the embedded Linux domain, allowing me to bridge my expertise between Debian and Ubuntu. This dual involvement has enabled me to contribute significantly to both communities, particularly in package maintenance and architecture support.
